Pricing & Service Policies

Know what your visit includes, how additional time is billed, and what to expect before work begins.

Project estimates are free. Troubleshooting and repair visits have a $275 minimum service-call charge, including travel and up to the first hour on site.

$275 service call: travel and the first hour included

The $275 minimum service-call charge covers travel to your home and up to the first hour on site: discussing your concerns, diagnosing the problem, and completing repairs when time and conditions allow.

The full $275 charge applies whether the visit takes 15 minutes or the entire hour. It is the same whether we send one electrician or two. Travel does not reduce your included on-site hour.

Many issues can be assessed during the first hour. Intermittent faults, concealed wiring, or more involved problems may require additional diagnostic time. The initial charge does not guarantee that every problem can be diagnosed or repaired within an hour.

Materials, required permit fees, and applicable sales tax are additional. The service-call charge covers the visit and is billed separately; it is not credited toward a later project.

If additional time is needed

After the included first hour, labor is billed at $145 per hour per electrician. We send one or two electricians depending on the work and explain the expected crew size and applicable rates before your appointment.

One electrician

$145 per hour after the included first hour.

Two electricians

$290 per hour combined after the included first hour.

Once we assess the issue, we explain the recommended repair and estimate the additional time needed. That estimate may change if concealed wiring, difficult access, or other unforeseen conditions affect the work. We discuss those findings and their effect on the expected cost with you.

Examples of visit charges

  • A 15-minute or 60-minute visit: $275, with one or two electricians.
  • A two-hour visit with one electrician: $275 + $145 = $420 in service-call and labor charges.
  • A two-hour visit with two electricians: $275 + $290 = $565 in service-call and labor charges.

These examples exclude materials, required permits, and applicable sales tax. They illustrate billing, not the expected time or final price for a particular repair.

Free estimates for planned electrical projects

Project estimates are free for work such as panel replacement, service upgrades, EV charger installation, rewiring, remodels, and additions. Send your project details and photos so we can discuss the scope and arrange a site visit when needed.

A free project estimate is separate from paid troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, or circuit tracing. We explain which appointment fits your request before scheduling.

Payment and deposits

Service calls are billed when the work is done. For bid projects, your written proposal or contract explains the scope, inclusions, exclusions, deposit, and payment schedule before work begins. Project-specific terms are set out in that written agreement.

Permits, inspections, and workmanship warranty

Permits and inspections

We obtain required electrical permits and coordinate inspections with the authority serving your address. You may need to provide access for an inspection. Permit fees and other project costs are identified separately or included as stated in your written proposal.

If an inspection requires a correction because of our work, we make that correction and handle the reinspection at no additional charge. Existing defects or additional work outside the agreed scope are reviewed separately.

One-year labor warranty

We provide a one-year warranty on our workmanship. If work we installed fails because of our workmanship within that year, we return to correct it.

Materials carry the manufacturer’s warranty. We help with manufacturer claims on parts we supplied. Existing wiring or equipment outside our work is not covered by our workmanship warranty.

Hours, scheduling, and service area

Monday–Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Pacific time. Closed Sunday. You can send an online request anytime; we review requests during business hours. An online request does not reserve an appointment or guarantee same-day service.

Service calls and small repairs cover Seattle and South King County. For bid projects, including Eastside remodels, panels, EV charging, and rewiring, send the project address so we can confirm coverage and availability before arranging a visit.

Urgent electrical concerns

We handle urgent calls during business hours subject to availability, at our standard rates with no same-day or emergency surcharge. We do not offer 24/7 or after-hours service. Call for urgent availability rather than relying on an online request.

For fire, smoke, or immediate danger, leave the affected area and call 911. Report power outages or utility supply concerns to your utility.
