The Genesis of Benchmark Home Services

Our story began in 2019, when two dedicated electricians—Edward Hlavacek and Kirill Korostelev—first crossed paths while working for a local electrical contractor. From the start, they found themselves exchanging forward-thinking ideas on how to streamline processes, deliver exceptional work, and exceed customer expectations.
A Meeting of Minds
Ed, a seasoned job foreman with years of electrical contracting experience, and Kirill, a resourceful journeyman electrician, quickly discovered a natural synergy. Their efforts brought new levels of efficiency to each project they touched. However, they soon realized their innovative suggestions weren’t fully embraced by management.
Forging a New Path
Undeterred by resistance, Ed and Kirill decided to pursue their vision independently. With unwavering determination, a few hundred dollars, and a passion for pushing the industry forward, they laid the groundwork for Benchmark Home Services Inc. in 2019.
Growing Beyond Expectations
Backed by Ed’s Master Electrician’s License and deep understanding of project management, alongside Kirill’s wide-ranging technical expertise, Benchmark Home Services quickly expanded. What started as an electrical services provider now encompasses HVAC services and custom engraved phenolic labels for tradespeople across various industries.
